GrowthMap ("we", "our", "us") is a marketing companion application operated by JMS Dev Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our web application at mygrowthmap.net and our Shopify app.

When you use GrowthMap, we may collect:

Business profile data (industry, website, marketing preferences)

Shopify store data (store name, product catalog, order counts) when installed as a Shopify app

4. Shopify Data

When you install GrowthMap from the Shopify App Store, we access your store data through Shopify's API with the following scopes:

read_products — To personalize marketing suggestions with your actual products
read_orders — To understand your sales patterns for better recommendations
read_customers — To provide audience-aware marketing guidance

Store access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We never share your Shopify data with third parties.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest. All communications use TLS/HTTPS. Shopify access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. If you uninstall the Shopify app, we deactivate your store connection and cancel any active subscriptions. We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks for data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.
